We can’t say with certainty how many new breweries opened in Minnesota this year — our best guess is about 30 — but it’s been enough for us to put together a list of our favorites. Here are five new Minnesota breweries that blew our minds — in a good way — in 2018.
Pryes is a solid NE brewery close to our hearts that’s about to be a little closer still to fans in the metro with their very own canned beers!
What do Eddie Murphy and a Minnesota brewery have in common? A brut fruit IPA, that’s what!
As we left Dual Citizen, we found ourselves asking a new question — do the Twin Cities have too many breweries? With so many options already available, the bar for any new brewery on the block is a high one, and for us — Dual Citizen just didn’t meet the mark.
Bent Brewstillery is on a mission to change the way people drink craft. But not everyone’s supportive of it.
With it’s floor to ceiling windows, unostentatious white walls and bold color accents, Wild Mind Artisan Ales is easily one of the brightest, cheeriest breweries we’ve found in Minnesota.
“Utepils” is a Norwegian word that roughly translates to “the first beer you drink outside on a warm, sunny day.” It’s also the name of one of Minneapolis’ most outstanding breweries you might want to drink a first, tenth and hundredth beer at (probably not in one sitting) regardless the weather of the day!
As we look forward to another great year of beer and breweries, we wanted to look back on 2017 and share some of our favorites.
Adam and I love discovering breweries with a unique theme that creates a meaningful experience. Lakes & Legends Brewing Company on Lasalle Ave in Minneapolis hits the nail on the head with their taproom and beer selection.
I credit Inbound BrewCo. in Minneapolis as the beginning of my beer adventure, the place of my defining “Oh my gosh…I actually like beer!” moment.
