Per Governor Tim Walz’s “Stay Safe” steps to re-open Minnesota, Minnesota breweries and other close-contact businesses will be allowed to re-open for service starting Monday, June 1.
Guidelines and restrictions to do so require that (1) service be limited to outdoor patio and seating options, (2) a limit of 50 patrons at a time by reservation and appointment and (3) continued practice of social distancing measures. Some breweries — like Summit Brewing Co. in St. Paul and Wild Mind Artisan Ales in South Minneapolis — have said that they will not be opening on June 1 for reasons of their own.
Many other breweries across the state, however, have announced their plans to re-open June 1 and expressed their eagerness to have patrons back in.
