Indeed Brewing Company-Milwaukee and the brand new Captain Pabst Pilot House announced a new Brunch Club collaboration series this past week.
According to a press release, Brunch Club: French Toast Dark Ale will be brewed at Captain Pabst Pilot House and Brunch Club: Berry Compote Sour will be brewed at Indeed Brewing Company’s pilot brewery. Each beer will be on tap at its respective brewery with a multi-location brunch-themed event to celebrate the collaboration.
Both breweries are (relatively) new to Milwaukee. Indeed Brewing Co. taproom and pilot house joined its Walker’s Point neighborhood September 2019. Captain Pabst Pilot House — the craft beer line of Pabst Brewery formerly known as Pabst Milwaukee Brewery & Taproom — originally opened three years ago but announced a rebranding in January.
“We’re new in town, so we jumped at the opportunity to brew with the Captain Pabst crew,” said Matt Pollock, Head Brewer of Indeed Milwaukee. “We’re thrilled to be collaborating with a brewery that has such a rich history in the city but is also trying new things at their pilot brewery. We had a lot of fun with this Brunch Club collaboration. We love breakfast beer and think it should be paired with brunch more often.”
“We wanted to welcome Indeed Brewing Company to Milwaukee with this Brunch Club collaboration beer,” said Adam Powers, General Manager of Captain Pabst Pilot House. “We are new to collaborations so we wanted to make it fun for both breweries and add a food element to it as well.” Captain Pabst announced its rebrand in January in conjunction with the launch of its first flagship beer Seabird IPA.
